Excellent Stay at a Central Hotel

The central location provided easy access to main attractions. I also appreciated the underground car park. The beautiful building added to the overall experience of my stay. I found it particularly convenient for exploring the area.
The room faced the street. Noise from rubbish and recycling collection woke me early on two mornings.

Central Hotel with Great Breakfast

The location was a definite plus, central to everything. I enjoyed easy walking distance to attractions. The hotel provided a peaceful night's sleep on a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, though it was all self-service.
The staff in the bar area seemed a little unfriendly at times. They would not assist with getting food just ten minutes before the kitchen closed!

the breakfast buffet WAS great the hotel was beautiful.
the rooms were VERY noisy floors creaked walls felt thin i slept poorly for about 3 hours each night i could hear people next door walking and coughing. they put my family on opposite sides of the building AND wanted 700 euros more to move us closer i ended up sleeping in the kids room away from my partner. more planning could have avoided this situation

the hotel is beautiful and set back from the main street. this made the hotel quiet. the room was spacious. daily cleaning was done well (i liked the fresh towels).
the staff didn't offer much help with luggage. i was asked to take my luggage to the room myself. the receptionist didn't guide me properly and i was left wandering with heavy luggage (this was not a great start).

I anticipated luxury, but left slightly deflated. My stay began well enough. The location is quite central and convenient. my "Superior Double or Twin Room" felt rather basic. The promised minibar was sparsely stocked, and I found myself needing to request more towels, a situation I hoped to avoid. I expected more attention to detail for the price.
